About Mark

TennisUrWay-2014-Logo-v04-iconUsing his motivated, but still fun coaching personality, Mark gets the most out of his students while they have a good time improving. Mark is a USTA Certified High Performance Coach, PTR Professional in Adult Development, and Etcheberry Certified in Strength, Movement, and Conditioning in Tennis. He has worked as a High Performance Tennis Professional, most recently at the Nassau Tennis Club in Skillman, New Jersey, where he worked to develop Juniors looking to excel in this highly physical, yet mental sport.

As a player, Mark was a NCAA Division II 4-time Scholar-Athlete at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. During his career at Bloomsburg Mark helped lead his team to a Conference Championship in 2012, Advance to the NCAA Division-II Round of 16 in 2009, and qualify for the national tournament in all four seasons. Mark also went on to be selected to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Team for both singles and doubles in the 2011 & 2012 season.  In high school, Mark was a Varsity starter all four years. During his career at Ridge High School he helped his team remain a consistent “Top 10” team in the state in both his junior and senior seasons. Along with being awarded numerous county and conference honors, also successfully advanced to the NJSIAA State Singles Tournament Round of 32. As the Captain in 2008, Mark helped lead Ridge to its first Somerset County Championship in 20 years.
